Laerskool Barberton Primary School presented their annual Mother and daughter day again this year on 5 August. This year’s theme was “Gatsby”. The event took place at Bouwer Park in the entertainment area. The guests put in a lot of effort to dress according to the theme and old and young displayed their outfits with great pride.
Die laerskool se damespersoneel het ook ‘n Gatsby modevertoning aangebied en daar was gelag en kommentaar gelewer oor die uitspattige uitrustings. Van die items op die program was ‘n praatjie oor die waarde van ma’s en dogters, ‘n viool-item, sang, pryse wat uitgegee is, ‘n ballet-item asook ‘n groepdansles hoe om die Charleston te dans. Dit was hope pret en die dames en dogters het daarna nog lekker saamgekuier.
