Our annual Literacy Day for the English LOLT schools in the Umjindi Circuit was hosted by Laerskool Barberton Primary School. Twenty-four English learners and twelve Afrikaans learners participated in this event.
Adjudicators and scorers from both Laerskool Barberton Primary School as well as Mountain View Primary supported this event.
Learners from Grade 1 to 3 competed against on another in the following sections:
- Reading
- Speech
- Creative Writing
- Mental Maths
The winners in each section will proceed to the district competitions.
